What if I accidentally deleted an event?

When you accidentally delete an event, the information is not completely deleted in the system. Contact the calendar administrators, specifically the Systems Management Unit (SMU), the restore the event that you have deleted.

What if our office or unit calendar manager leaves the Center?

If your unit or office manager leaves the center because of retirement or resignation, the responsibility is automatically passed to the QMSC representative of the unit or office. QMSC representative, informing the calendar administrators, could assign another calendar manager from the office and unit.

Can the Center calendar be viewed outside the premises of the Center?

Yes, the calendar can be viewed outside the premises of the Center as long as the user has an existing SEAMEO INNOTECH intranet account. Therefore, the user should be logged on the Intranet to view the calendar.

Can this calendar be viewed by non-SEAMEO INNOTECH employees?

No, for the time being, the first few months of use of the SEAMEO INNOTECH Calendar will be for its staff and partners only. However, email notifications of events could be sent to non-employees using the calendar program. They can only notify of their attendance or non-attendance to the event but cannot view the calendar per se.

Can I create a personal calendar using this program?

No, the Center calendar is not for scheduling personal events. This calendar was made for scheduling events of the SEAMEO INNOTECH units and offices only.

Does the calendar have event reminders?

Yes, the calendar have event reminders. Using email invites, the Calendar managers could notify you of the events that you have been invited to. Moreover, once a user log in to the calendar, unseen events and upcoming events are reminded/notified.

Can I invite meeting/event attendees who are outside INNOTECH?

Yes, you can send meeting invitations to any email address.

Can I see a list of attendees who have accepted my invitation?

Yes, view the event details and see who has accepted your invitation. Invited persons who have “Yes” across their names have accepted your invitation.

Can I set up a recurring event?

Yes, the SEAMEO INNOTECH supports recurring events. To set one up, in “Add New Event”, select an option in the Repeating drop-down list. The only options are Monthly or Annually.

How long do past events stay on the INNOTECH Calendar?

Your past events remain on the Center calendar forever, unless you or the calendar administrators delete them.
